Blessed

Human are blessed with the capability to feel, the emotions which arise from the stir in the heart.

'Emotions' in Latin is pronounced us emovere, where e- (variant of ex-) means 'out' and movere means 'move'. from my own interpretation, its the out moving of a person's physiological state in form of a vibe, a mood. With that being said, it is still a very subjective experience, as people feel and response to things differently. One of the best example is that you possibly heard someone express a feeling only to be told "dont feel that way".

I wonder how many person actually stay truthful to their own feelings, despite the fact that we are constantly being dismissed by others, everyday.

Yesterday, Pastor Kelvin shared a message about wisdom and how it affects our physical action and people around us by quoting Proverbs 1:7. Our thoughts and emotions shaped our view towards life, and of course consecutively how we live out our life. Coincidentally (or may not), It was the same thing which i had in my mind when i shared with my dear sisters in our last gathering.

It was one of the rare moments i felt that The Almighty is speaking to me, am not sure its an enlightenment or a sign, one thing I am absolutely sure is that, its a moment of importance.

I’ve seen some amazing people whereby their life has always been faithful/ truthful to their feelings and their beliefs. They do not conform to the typical cultural or societal rules, they do not value what were perceived as the richess of the world. All they did is to live out the life the way they wanted. My mate from Liverpool, Maime is such a person; its rare to come across a person with so much of vibe in her. She loves traveling and used to drive me and the girls around in her red car. Always explorative and full of zest.


This was taken two years ago when we went to the Cosby beach to see the famous miniature figure by Anthony Gormley, its called 'Another place'

Another trip whereby we climbed up mountains in Grasmere, Lake District, In RAIN!

One thing which we all loves about her is that she constantly emiting out a kind of happy aura which is highly contagious.

However, sometimes it seems that some emotions arise from circumstances, and this is kind of scary because sometimes they literally seem to overrun you. I used to have a close friend who developed some feelings for a girl who already has a boyfriend, and obviously was using him to her own advantages. He was struggled as his world revolving around her, his love for her had literally became a believe, a religion, a purpose, and when he lose her, he became very bitter and distorted, he is never the same person he was again.

That's the extend of how emotions can overrun and affects our lives.

When we took a step back and looking at the life which we live, retrospectively, what did we see? Be honest cuz that shows how the state of our heart is. Are we bitter and restless? Are we always in the verge of losing control and in rage?

Yes, Human are blessed with the capability to feel, the emotions which arise from the stir in the heart.

But above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life (Proverbs 4:23)
