Love Happens
At first i was thinking of uploading 1 more batch of our wedding photos but i think the photographer did better than me so this is the last post of my official wedding photos blog series.
This post took me ages to write, and i'm glad its finally done. I've intended to publish this right after wedding, as a recollection of the post wedding feelings. However, its really difficult for me to pour out my heart in words, without any inhibition. Its a feeling of being stripped naked, whereby all the hidden pages of my life are now laid open for other people to read. At the same time this is also a love confession to my one and only, in words and in entirety. Sometimes a hug or a kiss can speaks thousands of words, as there are no hidden emotion behind such intimate gesture. But to put thousand of words forward in order to show those same intensity of emotions deep within, its harder than it looks.
So here it comes, dedicated to him - my now and forever.

About wedding, not mine
Tomorrow will be Sam and Tong's big day. I don't know whether is it faith or something else they see in me (of which i'm totally blind to), they have chosen me to help to coordinate the morning wedding service. Nevertheless, it was an honor.Last night was the first and the last rehearsal. A bit kelam kabut as the care taker of the church suddenly requested that we need to vacate the church at 9pm. And the worst thing is initially we had planned to start at 830pm since everyone has to rush to the church straightly after work. However, the rehearsal was accomplished on time in good spirit. And i really have to thank the cooperation from all the people who involved.
The wedding service will be conducted at Zion Lutheran church at Brickfield, which is like 5 minutes away from the church which my wedding will be at. It was old traditional church built in 1924, the internal looks abit similar to Catholic church and i love the old feeling with the chandeliers hanging on the wall and wooden bench with classic red carpet.
Anyway, grabbed some photos from weddingguideaisia.com about the church. It looks stunning from the lens of the photographer.
For those who are going, see you all tomorrow.Ps: Please wear your best piece of clothe with a bit of red or white K? their theme is red and white.

Wedding is way overated
Along the process of wedding preparation, one thing which I'm constantly frustrated about is the people's general perception towards wedding.
For simplicity, i would called the so called generally stereotyped weddings as celebrity wedding, while mine which is less extravagant and simple as my humble wedding. Apparently, not all, but some who doubted peter and my decision for a humble wedding. For example, during the course of wedding preparation, we were being bombarded endlessly by questions such as "are you serious of not serving any alcohol?", "what about speech?""why there is no reception dinner/tea ceremony/ chip san leong?", "you got no money is it?" etc.
Let me emphasize this before i continue, this is purely my PERSONAL opinion, so it does not conform to the general opinion of how wedding should be. And i am relief that the other person who is integral in this wedding is 100% in tune with me. PERSONALLY, i believe that wedding is the occasion where the couple come together as one, and it is a special moment for the couple to celebrate and sharing their joy with their love ones. On the other hand, wedding frills and favors are secondary, am not saying that its not necessary, but i would say that its not that important compare to the focus of the wedding, which is the couple themselves. The frills follows the ceremony for obvious reasons, as it contributes to the entire ambiance and good feelings of the wedding. However, with or without the frills, extravagant or not, all the wedding are of the same purpose and it should brings equal sheer happiness to the couple as well as the witness who shared the happiness of the couple.
Most of us, have certain level of "wedding indoctrination" buried deep within, i.e. designer dress, expensive wines, wedding banquets etc. Frankly, i'm the lone ranger here, fighting the Goliath celebrity wedding 'system' which was deep rooted in any culture or society. I blame it to media influence OR ..... its sheer vanity.
Well, all i can say is that its unavoidable that there are expectations from many, however in the end of the day its up to me and Peter to keep it in perspective.
I guess you got the point now, other wise dont blame me if i turn into bridezilla k.

Save the date!!
PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!
The wedding will be at Church of Holy Rosary, Kuala Lumpur.
Its a 100 years old church, can you believe that! I remembered when i was still a young and innocent college student, i always saw the church through the windows of the LRT everytime the train passed by Pasar Seni heading to KL sentral station. It is standing tall and magistic in white, and i cant helped but wonder how the church looks inside.
Easily the Holy Rosary Church is one of the most beautiful of the Malaysian churches. Little is recorded of the history of the church except that it was constructed by Father Francis Emile Terrien, a French missionary. The church took 18 months to build, and was blessed on December 18, 1904.
The attraction of the Holy Rosary Church lies in its Neo-Gothic architecture style. Its characteristic features include the pointed arch, the ribbed vault and the flying buttress. The Neo-Gothic architecture is most familiar as the architecture of many of the great cathedrals, abbeys and parish churches of Europe. It is also the architecture of many castles, palaces, town halls, guild halls, universities, and to a less prominent extent, private dwellings."

Wedding Diy: Wedding Car Deco
Frankly, i really dont mind reuse some of the old deco staff for my wedding. Both Peter and I believe in spending money in its appropriate place, and funny to say wedding decoration comes at the least in our list of priority.
Next, release the folds from the sides so that it looks fluffy. Tie the fluffy white flower with wire in the middle to the original red-pink deco.
TaDa! this is the final outcome. Wonder how my Myvi looks with these decos.
