wow...
what i really mean is WOW!
Can you believe it, the wedding bells are just around the corner, and the clock is ticking faster and faster even as when i'm writing now. I know it sounds ridiculous that i'm getting anxious unnecessarily, yes things are getting prepared according to plan, my sisters are getting their hands busy (and 'dirty' for the bakers) helping me out with all the details, the gown is hanging in the closet.... yet the whole realization of i-am-getting-married is like a bomb which set to explode in 3 days time, and i have to constantly hold my chest so that my heart wont just bursting out.
The worst thing is i cant wait till the whole thing is over, and that's exactly what i have been trying to avoid since the whole wedding preparation started. I am worried that i may not really 'be present' on this important day of my life. Many brides told me that they felt their wedding day went off so fast and it felt like a blur as there are so many things to do and to take care of. At the end of the day, when the whole event ends and the light is off, they left with a pair of sore feet and messy hair to shampoo, which literally makes them nuts.
I don't want that to happen to my wedding day, I hope i'm not just physically there, but i'm really present there, relish in it, take it all in, have all the fun i can because its the happiest day of my life. I do hope that i'm able to get my hands off from all the details and leave it to my trusted friends as I do know that i have the tendency of getting caught up in "getting-the-things-done" rush cuz basically i'm THAT type of person. I love running around in my heels, making sure things is done according to the plan and all the guest wears the biggest smile on their face. I may be a good wedding coordinator but may not be a good bride.
Anyway, gals if you see my hands started to get itchy please tie it up, shoo me off, but most important thing is enjoy the moment together with me.
